Ben leads the firm’s Petoskey office in Northern Michigan, where he serves as the primary contact for clients spanning the public and private sectors, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with municipalities, state and federal agencies and growing the firm’s presence in the vibrant regional market. A licensed professional engineer with a deep background in construction management, he also manages the firm’s construction engineering team.

Ben brings senior level management experience to his leadership role with a strong background in construction, engineering, planning, compliance and quality assurance. Prior to joining OHM Advisors in 2019, he was a construction engineer with the Michigan Department of Transportation where he oversaw numerous roadway, bridge, and other infrastructure projects throughout seven counties in northern Michigan. A consummate relationship-builder, he is known for his skill in working with clients as an integrated partner to create innovative solutions that advance the quality of life in their communities. As part of his leadership role, Ben uses these skills to foster a collaborative internal and multidisciplinary team environment, providing a strong local presence for the firm’s clients in the region.

The holder of a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Michigan, Ben also has a Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Comprehensive Certification.
