Joseph (Joe) Griner is the Director of MEP Engineering for the Florida operations of OHM Advisors. He is a Professional Engineer with over four decades of mechanical engineering and energy conservation design experience in HVAC and plumbing systems for municipal/recreational, educational, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and government facilities. Joe has been the engineer of record for over 100 million dollars of construction and energy conservation projects. He is a LEED® AP certified professional and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional.

Joe was the President of Griner Engineering for 27 years. He and his team joined OHM Advisors in 2024, bringing fire engineering design capabilities and additional engineering capacity to the firm. 

A lifelong Florida resident who is actively involved with the engineering community, Joe holds appointments with the Life Safety and Fire Board of Adjustment and Appeals, Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board NFPA Committee on Special Equipment, Processes, and Hazardous Materials, and the City of St. Petersburg Development Review Commission.
