
RJ Susko is a Senior Planner and seasoned public management professional dedicated to empowering communities to reach their full potential through good governance, strategic visioning, and cohesive planning guided by steady and reliable public management. With extensive municipal leadership experience, she specializes in land use planning, zoning regulations, change management, right-sized regulatory solutions, and clear stakeholder communication. She is committed to building vibrant, active communities through practical visioning based on Main Street principles and sustainable financial practices.
Before joining the Pittsburgh office of OHM Advisors, RJ was the Planning and Development Director for the Town of McCandless, overseeing zoning, code enforcement, and development review. She previously held leadership roles as Borough Manager of Crafton and Assistant Township Manager of Robinson, managing multi-million-dollar budgets and municipal operations.
RJ has a Master of Public Administration with an Urban Affairs and Planning Concentration from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2023, she received the Distinguished Public Service Achievement Award from the Keystone Chapter of American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) for her innovative contributions to the public administration profession.
