Award-Winning Auburn Road Reconstruction Project Featured in CAM Magazine

In its March 2022 issue, CAM Magazine, the magazine of the Construction Association of Michigan, featured an article on OHM Advisors’ multiple-award-winning Auburn Road Reconstruction & Streetscape project with the City of Rochester Hills. Principal Rhett Gronevelt discusses how the project fulfilled the City’s intent to transform the way residents of the community use the half-mile stretch of road connecting their neighborhoods to the local businesses they patronize. Specifically, Gronevelt discusses:   

• Unique roadway roundabout sculptural art designed to highlight the area’s natural beauty
• Green stormwater management infrastructure including 50 rain gardens
• The partnership with local businesses to relocate their entrances for enhanced pedestrian safety
• The transformation for residents to a walkable, community-oriented corridor
