Grimm Honored as 2021 Ohio Institute of Traffic Engineers Young Engineer of the Year
Jon Grimm, PE, a project engineer in OHM Advisors’ Transportation group, has been named the 2021 Young Engineer of the Year by the Institute of Traffic Engineers, Ohio Section (ITE). The annual award recognizes an individual under age 35 making contributions to the transportation engineering profession, the Ohio Section, the Institute and the community.
A valued member of the firm’s Transportation group in its Columbus, Ohio office, Grimm has a diverse background in traffic engineering and construction with a wide range of experience in the maintenance of traffic, traffic studies, and signal design and operation. He applies his knowledge at all stages of the design process as an integral project team member solving complex problems with multiple design solutions.
Grimm is passionate about traffic engineering and improving safety for all travelers in the firm’s client communities and dedicated to sharing that knowledge with other internal team members and the greater transportation engineering profession. He is a member of the Ohio and National Sections of ITE and the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). Grimm also contributes significant time to spearheading philanthropic efforts in OHM Advisors’ Columbus office and mentoring staff.
